A treatment will last 45 to 60 minutes and most of the work can be performed through light clothing. The Bowen therapist will perform rolling techniques over specific points on the body, either over muscles, fascia, tendons or ligaments. During the treatment there will be a series of breaks to enable the body to absorb the effects of these moves. This is an important time when the body has time to make subtle adjustments which helps it to rebalance and reduce pain and tension.
